About Us

J and D Reptiles (Standing for Jungle and Desert Reptiles) was founded in 2007 by Springfield, MA native, Jeremy Turgeon.  J and D Reptiles is still in the "humble beginnings" stages of breeding facilities, however, great strides have been made!  Our simple 12 x 10 room is filled with wall to wall reptiles.  The room, mostly filled with Ball Pythons, has a pretty wide range of species from all over the world!  To check out what our Reptile Room looks like check us out on You Tube by going to www.youtube.com/janddreptiles!  I try to upload videos at least once a week!
Jeremy T., and J and D Reptiles are dedicated to educating the public on these incredible creatures.  During the year, J and D Reptiles does quite a few reptile education demos across New England.  Between doing Birthday Parties, School Events, Summer Programs, etc, Jeremy gets to a large number of the public each year educating on what has been his passion for nearly 15 years!
Being in the "humble beginnings" stages, J and D Reptiles has limited space, but has it maximized to the fullest potential with many different reptile species, and genetic mutations.  We have species and color morphs to meet all types of budgets, from the new reptile keeper, up to the serious investor looking to spend tens of thousands of dollars!  I am currently Breeding 15 Different species of reptiles, however I only focus on a few species.  By that, I mean, these are the animals I have the most of, to produce different color morphs, or Paint jobs!

I mainly focus on the following species:
BALL PYTHONS
HONDURAN MILK SNAKES
COASTAL CARPET PYTHONS
CENTRALIAN CARPET PYTHONS
JUNGLE CARPET PYTHONS
IRIAN JAYA CARPET PYTHONS
NORTH MEXICAN PINE SNAKES
LEOPARD GECKOS

However, I also breed the following species:
SPOTTED PYTHONS
BURMESE PYTHONS
CORN SNAKES
ARIZONA MOUNTAIN KING SNAKES
NELSON'S MILK SNAKES
WESTERN HOGNOSE SNAKES
BRAZILIAN RAINBOW BOAS
GREEN TREE PYTHONS (Permits Needed to own in MA)

These are the main species I use for breeding, however, I keep many other species which I use for education, and "just for fun" species I enjoy keeping!  For a complete list of all the species kept here at J and D Reptiles check out the collection page!
About Me, Jeremy T.

Well, let's start at the beginning, my name is Jeremy Turgeon.  Most of you have seen my You Tube videos know my as Jeremy T.  I am the owner/founder of J and D Reptiles.  I founded J and D Reptiles back in 2007, however, I have been keeping reptiles for nearly 15 years!  I have been breeding reptiles for 8 years. The 2011-2012 season will be my 9th breeding season, and probably one of my best!
I started keeping reptiles when I was 4 years old.  Starting out with a Fire Bellied Toad, my life's path was sealed!  I wanted nothing more than to work with these amazing creatures!  My collection has grown to over 100 animals, and is still growing!  I am currently 19, and a High School Graduate.
My dream has become  my reality, and I couldn't be happier with it!  I've made many sacrificies, but they have always been worth it to ensure I can keep my dream alive!  I am always looking ahead, and look forward to what the future holds!
